Let There Be Light, Fun and Play
– Ingmar Bergman on Fårö
The exhibition takes you as a visitor straight into the strong relationship that arose between the world-renowned director and Fårö's distinctive landscape together with its inhabitants.
Bergmancenter has its own fantastic cinema with 64 places showing films from east to west.
Here at Bergmancenter there is a reference library full of books and other media about Ingmar Bergman's life and works as well as film and theater history related to Ingmar Bergman.
The creative workshop is open to children and young people who are curious about different artistic means of expression and who playfully want to use them. Here it is free to both play and play theater, dip the brush in the color can or create a movie.
Here you can enjoy a good lunch or any of the pastries that have just come out of the oven on our fantastic outdoor restaurant with nice views of the sea.
We are constantly working to make the Bergman Center a place where everyone feels welcome.
