A destination for everyone

Accessibility

We are constantly working to make the Bergman Center a place where everyone feels welcome and where as many people as possible can enjoy what we have to offer.

Parking

We have two designated handicap parking spaces near the entrance.

Entrance

The entrance is accessed via a smooth, paved path that is wide and suitable for wheelchair users, visitors with walkers, or those with strollers. An automatic door opener is available.

Facilities

The premises are spread across two floors with no thresholds. There is an elevator to the lower floor, accommodating wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers. The elevator can be operated independently, but our staff is also trained to assist using a remote control. All areas are accessible for wheelchairs and walkers.

Cinema

Our cinema has two wheelchair spaces. We always inform visitors if the film being shown contains loud and sudden noises.

Outdoor Area

A ramp leads to the outdoor café area, which is paved and easy to navigate with a wheelchair, walker, or stroller. An automatic door opener is available.

Support person/Service Animals

Support persons receive free admission to exhibitions and cinema screenings. Service dogs are permitted in the exhibition area but not in the cinema, due to the risk of allergic reactions given the design of the space.

Language

Exhibition texts are provided in Swedish and English. Guided tours are available in Swedish, English, German, and Dutch, if pre booked.

Additional Information

Strollers and high chairs are available to borrow. Our café offers lactose-free meal options and food prepared without gluten, though not in a gluten-free environment.
