All year round
Whether you're interested in a guided tour of our exhibitions, a Bergman Safari by bike or bus, or a conference in this cinematic world heritage site with the sea as your neighbor, we're here to make it happen. Let us help you create memories that last a lifetime. Book through the form at the bottom of the page or send us an email at info@bergmancenter.se
Our guided tours are available for booking year-round for groups of at least five people and last approximately 45 minutes. You'll learn about how Bergman ended up on Fårö, how he actually went about creating a new film, and you'll even get to see a real Oscar statuette. Guided tours can be booked in Swedish, English, or German.
Every day at 1 pm. throughout July and August we offer a guided tour of our exhibition Play, joy and light!
Ingmar Bergman and Fårö. The tour lasts around 45 min and tickets (150 SEK) can be purchased at Bergmancenter. No booking.
At Bergman Center, we have a cinema with 64 seats, two of which are reserved for wheelchairs. It can be rented for film screenings, conferences, or other events. Perhaps you'd like to combine it with a guided tour or create animated films in our creative workshop – only your imagination sets the limits.
Join us on our bike safari and experience the unique environment that Bergman chose to create and film his movies in! We depart from the Bergman Center on our own or rented bikes. During the guided tour, we visit filming locations for Persona (1966), Through a Glass Darkly (1961), Scenes from a Marriage (1974). We start by cycling to Dämba, where we watch some clips from the films in Bergman's own cinema. The Bike safari is available for groups of at least seven people.
Embark on a bus safari in Bergmanland! Together with our knowledgeable and dedicated guides, you'll experience Fårö just as Bergman saw it. Inside the bus, we'll show clips from the films he shot on Fårö, while outside, the same beautiful locations pass by. Ingmar Bergman filmed four feature films, a TV series, and two documentaries on Fårö, so you'll get to experience a large portion of his work. The bus safari is available for groups of at least 15 people,
