The Bergman Center is located in the middle of Fårö, and is easy to find. From Visby it’s a 60 km drive north on road 148 to Fårösund, followed by a ferry connection over to Fårö.
You can make that trip by bike, car, taxi or bus. Bus 20 will take you to Fårösund, but from the middle of June the bus goes all the way to Fårö three times a day. Check the summer time table to be sure about the bus departures. During the summer the ferry to Fårö leaves every half hour, but at the peak of summer they run most of the time. When arriving to Fårö you follow the main road, about 8 km, until you reach The Bergman Center on the right side.
To reach Visby there are flight options from major cities in Sweden and also some seasonal international flights. Check the airport’s website for information about available flights in the time of your visit Swedavia.
Another option is to take a 3-hour boat ride from Nynäshamn (1 hour from Stockholm), Oskarshamn or Västervik. You can find out more information, timetable and book tickets at Destination Gotland.
