Inauguration film: The Home (2025)

Step over the threshold into the eerily exciting The Home, based on Mats Strandberg’s novel. The film takes place in a dementia care facility on Gotland, where Nina (Gizem Erdogan) cares for Monika (Anki Lidén), the mother of Nina’s childhood friend, Joel (Philip Oros). Monika seems to know things she couldn’t possibly know, and her outbursts become increasingly violent. Goosebumps in this summer afternoon with Monika…
