Handeling the Undead

Hanteringenavdeododa A4 2 Hanteringenavdeododa A4 2

On a warm summer day in Oslo, the dead come back to life. A mother dies in a car accident, and the family must deal with death and resurrection simultaneously. An elderly woman gets her beloved back after having buried her the same day. A grandfather desperately tries to reclaim his grandchild to ease his daughter's sorrow. The handling of the undead is a painful, touching, and occasionally unsettling story about people in mourning who get their deepest wish fulfilled. Longing and yearning, hope, despair, and love stronger than death. Starring Renate Reinsve and Anders Danielsen Lie (both from The Worst Person in the World) and Bahar Pars (A Man Called Ove). Written by author John Ajvide Lindqvist (Let the Right One In, Border), who also wrote the original book, and directed by Norwegian debutant Thea Hvistendahl.
