Support the Bergman Center
Worldwide, Ingmar Bergman and his films are associated with Sweden—just like Alfred Nobel, IKEA, or Björn Borg. We bring Bergman’s rich cultural legacy to life for both Swedish and international audiences through the annual Bergman Week, guided tours of film locations in the landscapes of Fårö, a vibrant Creative Workshop, regular film screenings throughout the year, talent development for young filmmakers, exhibitions, workshops, and talks with authors and directors.
Your contribution allows us not only to continue the work we have carried out for more than twenty years but also to develop it and take it to the next level. We aim to make it accessible to more people, for a longer season, and more appealing to new audiences. With dedicated staff, new program initiatives, and modern technology, we strive, among other things, to engage children and young people, helping to preserve and renew interest in film—both Bergman’s and others’.
From SEK 7,000, you receive free admission to the Bergman Center for life. You also get a 10% discount in our shop and café (excluding alcohol). You will receive invitations to exhibition openings and events, and have the opportunity to meet our guests informally during Bergman Week. You can also book special events for yourself or your company at a discounted rate.

Want to raise your contribution and have your name recorded in film history—or at least on a plaque on a cinema seat in our beautiful Laterna Magica theater at the Bergman Center on Fårö?
For SEK 20,000, you become a Lifelong Partner—and one of our 62 cinema seats becomes yours, or your company’s! In our digitally equipped cinema, we screen newly released films every Sunday. During Bergman Week and the summer, we offer special programmes. You will receive invitations to film screenings with guest appearances during Bergman Week in June, as well as the opportunity to meet our invited guests informally during the festival. You can also book special events for yourself or your company at a discounted rate. For the “patrons” of our cinema seats, we host a special evening with a film screening.
