The Thomas 'Kuten' Lindholm documentary gets world premiere at Bergman Week

Was Kuten-Thomas as much of a Fårö legend as Ingmar Bergman?

When Johann Wallnöfer completed his documentary about Thomas Lindholm—the driving force behind Kutens Bensin, Fårö’s combined tourist attraction and cult cultural and music venue—he had reason to reflect on that question. Over the course of two years, up until Thomas’s death in July 2025, Johann interviewed him about his life and work—and the people around him. The result, Thomas Has Not Left the Building, is a homage to a beloved local character and passionate soul who meant a great deal to people both on and beyond the small island.

The screening will take place on Thursday, June 25. Tickets will be released for Gold Pass holders on May 18 and for everyone else on May 22.
