Tickets for this year’s star-studded Bergman Week are here, and whether you’d rather sink into a seat for a classic film in Bergman’s own cinema, discover brand-new premieres, or meet some of the biggest stars in the film world — we have something for you!
This year’s guest of honor is the French star actress Juliette Binoche, who will visit Fårö with her directorial debut In-I In Motion. Gustaf Skarsgård will talk about his feature film debut The Cannibal (yes, it’s about Ingmar Bergman!) together with Alex Schulman, who is making his own feature film debut with the highly anticipated Adult Behaviour. We will discover the similarities between the mystical dream world of David Lynch and the metaphysics of Bergman in a talk with Mary Sweeney, Lynch´s long time creative partner, editor and producer.
There will also be premiere screenings of Swedish indie charms such as The Greenest Grass and Doggerland, as well as international heavyweights like Pedro Almodóvar’s Autofiction (straight from the competition in Cannes!).
