Winter Light

A country pastor whose congregation is in decline is beset with growing doubts. The church is empty and God quiet in a master piece where Gunnar Björnstrand is in despair and Ingrid Thulin refuses to give up. "In a way it's probably the film that is closest to me", said Ingmar Bergman.
