The only Swedish entry at the Berlin Film Festival this year was a charming indie gem about a far-too-old young man who chooses to follow his diabolo dream out into the world instead of getting a real job. With a cinematic language as idiosyncratic as it is affectionate, Kim Ekberg has captured the relationship between a lost man’s much- too-late coming of age—and his mother’s patience being put to the test. The film is introduced by the director, who will participate in a Q&A after the screening.
