Den hemlige vännen – Kalle Boman & Johan Carlsson

The Secret Friend is a fitting name for film legend Kalle Boman. Since 1949, when he appeared as an extra in Bergman’s Prison, he has, in his roles as a film worker and producer, guided Bo Widerberg, Roy Andersson, Marie- Louise Ekman, Ruben Östlund, and many others. Over several years, Johan Carlsson has followed Kalle in action and now presents parts of the result. Together with Kalle, he discusses creative processes, what it’s like to portray a person who avoids the spotlight, and what it means to become the subject of a documentary.
