This year, Bergman Week celebrates its 20th anniversary, and we want to celebrate by highlighting the filmmakers, storytellers, and guests we've had over the years, but also by looking forward! The theme for this year's festival is Circus Bergman: 20 years of light and darkness!
Over the years, a large number of guests and visitors from all over the world have come to our festival on the small island in the Baltic Sea. We have hosted directors such as Ang Lee, Sally Potter, Wim Wenders, Greta Gerwig, and Ruben Östlund. We have welcomed actors like Tim Roth, Harriet Andersson, Willem Dafoe, and Aubrey Plaza.
